Our story
Once upon a time !
The story begins in 2011, near Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France.
Passionate about marketing and brimming with creativity, Frédéric MARTZ, former marketing director of a French clothing brand, joined forces with Philippe SHI and Laurent GUILLOU to found Marketing Création. Their idea was to create personalized incentives for children and families.
Together they founded Marketing Création in 2011. An agency that started with only three employees, and now has a team of around twenty collaborators.

Go on an adventure
Marketing Création Group brings together several complementary brands. In 2011, Welcome Family was created to offer games and equipment adapted for children in the hospitality industry. This was complemented by Kids Création , a business dedicated to personalized promotional items for children. And supported by our Studio , which handles graphic design and website creation.
Ten years after the group's creation, Peluche Création was launched, positioning itself as an expert in creating custom or personalized plush toys, thus strengthening the group's other activities. Finally, the group's newest addition, Beast'izz , follows in the footsteps of Welcome Family, focusing on welcoming, but this time, animals. It offers a range of products, customizable or not, specifically designed to meet the needs of businesses.

2011 - The Good Idea! The beginnings of Welcome Family
A friend of Frédéric's traveled around the world with his family and said that the way children are treated is fantastic in many countries, especially in hotels and restaurants . That was all it took to spark Fred's interest. He set up his first offices in Fred's garage.
2011 - Invoice No. 63 - Short Straw
CourtePaille was the first restaurant chain to trust us; invoice 63 is etched in their memories. We equipped all CourtePaille restaurants with child booster seats .
2011 - You have to start somewhere…
Door-to-door sales in the south of France to present baby booster seats. Creation of the first welcome kit with boxes of colored pencils and placemats. Also, the production of our own baby booster seat branded with the Welcome Family logo.
2012 - We're growing, and so are the offices!
Second office at my parents' house (a former architect's office), mosquitoes and the cold were our friends. At that time there were only 5 of us, the office was also an order preparation workshop, we took turns preparing packages for our clients.
2014 - Go big or go home
Invention of the McDonald's Chair . A chair custom-made for the fast-food giant. A story that continues 10 years later; we supply all McDonald's restaurants worldwide.
2015 - Everyone to the Boss!
New office, welcome to Fred's , bigger, more spacious and a large terrace! In the heart of a pine forest, near Sainte Victoire, we are moving into these new offices and the team is growing.
2019 - Vale vale!
With 5 years of experience in France, we're now tackling Southern Europe, starting with Spain. We've opened offices in Barcelona and our amazing business developer, Chloé, has joined us. The whole team is joining her for our first end-of-year seminar.
2021 - Birth of Peluche Création
During COVID, we were looking to diversify, and custom-made plush toys were a solution to maintain our business during this complicated period.
2022 - From 2 to 29 games
Thanks to our internal creativity competition, “CreaAcademy ,” we were able to expand our range of eco-friendly games for the Welcome Family brand, from 10 models in 2022 to 29 models in 2023. This competition allows employees to propose and invent games, and to participate in the company's innovation.
2022 - Higher and higher, further and further, stronger and stronger
New offices in Fuveau , ranging from 80 to 300 m², we've come a long way!
2022 - The dog is in the place
Introducing Tchopper , the new mascot with cocker spaniel eyes.
2023 - Who wants to become our Baby?
Launch of La Pouponnière , the incubator that supports young entrepreneurs in developing their projects in games and toys.
2023 - 25, the number of employees
In September, our team is expanding ; this is a new milestone reached which shows our evolution as a growing company.
